About Us

STATS Preschool was started to provide high quality, developmentally appropriate childcare and education in a nurturing and safe environment. Our program is based on exposing children to building and maintaining healthy and positive relationships through meaningful learning experiences and play, that research has proven promotes a child's development in all domains. These profound experiences are the building blocks to help children develop their sense of self, self regulation skills, managing and understanding different emotions, and language development. Daily exposure and routine along with opportunities for socialization during these learning experiences will further develop the whole child, and prepare them for their long lasting journey into grade school and society.

Staff

The Director

Ms. Brown is a mother of 3 and has been an early childhood educator for the New York City Department of Education for 8 years. For the majority of her career, she has taught Pre-Kindergarten, and overseen classrooms for infants and toddlers in the educational director capacity.

Ms. Brown holds a Master's of Science degree in Early Childhood Education, and Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child Psychology- both from CUNY's the City College of New York School of Education. She is also licensed and certified to teach for ages Birth- 2nd Grade by the State of New York.
